A-GA-MING Golf Resort
Whether you prefer a winding course through Northern Michigan woods or a links-style course, we now offer both.
Our new course, Sundance was designed by the dean of Michigan golf course architects; Jerry Matthews, President of Natural Course Design (www.naturalcoursedesign.com) and opened in the spring of 2005 to rave reviews. As perhaps the crowning achievement of a long and illustrious career, Sundance joins a portfolio of more than 100 new courses designed by Matthews, many of which have been nationally recognized by Golf Digest as being among the best new courses in the country.
Nestled on a bluff between Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay, this intriguing par 72 layout features undulating links accented by yawning bunkers, sinewy heather crowned mounds and magnificent vistas.
Our original course now called Torch is situated among 500 acres of stately pine, mature hardwoods and swift-flowing creeks. This par-72 layout has tee locations to vary the course length from a demanding 6,693 yards to a more forgiving 5,135 yards.
